What is Oxford fabric and why use to make bags?

Oxford fabric origin from England which was named after Oxford University, also called Oxford cloth. Its a weave fabric which interlaced with polyester and cotton blended yarn and cotton yarn. The feature of Oxford fabric is quick-dry, breathe freely, moisture absorption and comfort.  It is a versatile and widely use fabric, can be made as shirts, dresses, tents and bags.

 

Division with texture, there are DOBBY, RIPSTOP, TWO/TONE etc.

Division with material, there are polyester and nylon.

Division with coating, there are PU, PVC, PE, PA, UL etc.

 

 

A normal Oxford fabric no strength, no waterproof and cant dry in the sun, this kinds of Oxford mainly use to make clothes, garment like shirt, dress etc, but coated with PVC, that is industry Oxford fabric (includes 210D, 420D, 600D, 840D, 900D, 1000D, 1200D, 1680D etc), to make its more wider use, more stronger, more pressure and more longer life, this is mainly use to make all kinds of bags, like travel bags, backpack bags, tote bags, school bags and so on.

 

 

Oxford fabric coated with PVC/PU/PE is need the special technology, this is mainly use in bags, covers. Oxford fabric not fear with moist and mildew, but its easy to fluff, and PVC/PU/PE coated is the best way to solve this problem.
